Hi i'm new to geekzone

I have recently bought a 40" Sony Bravia 1080p and already had a Lexicon Alpha USB sound card with some monitors. My question is, what would be the the best way to connect the tv to the alpha? The tv has rca or optical out and alpha has twin 6.3mm inputs. I'm hoping to get decent quality sound for my ps3 and blueray
