Well apparently I made a horrible faux pas by mentioning an active EPG source - the member who contacted me on it was concerned that any public attention given to the source would prompt the powers that be to issue a 'take down' order.

If that's a real concern then shouldn't we all just stiffle ourselves on this subject (expect perhaps via PMs) and ask our moderator (whoever that might be) to axe any discussions about the "e word" from the board?
Quite a pity really, as I never would have got my setup to work without the posts I found here, and without a guide,  WMC loses a large piece of its charm.

The problem is that it seems to be an "underground" thing. Sky is acting quite hard on anyone distributing EPG scrapped from their sources.

Any publicity is an invitation for them to "visit" the domain and issue a take down notice. That's why.
