Hey, i just recently bought a sony RDR-HX910 HDD recorder and i am hoping to hook it up to my sky decoder. im not sure how to connect it all togeather. I currently have it set up in the "connect to satelite or digital tuner" configuration but im not recieving any channels during the easy setup and all i gt i a blank screen. Any help will be greatly apreciated.

First of all make sure that you connected the recorder to your tv.
-> no signal, no picture

yea, my sky decoder is connected to the recorder via RGB SCART cable and the recorder is connected to the tv via LINE2OUT and some audio/video cables

ok, i went out and bought some component cables which i used to connect the recorder to the tv, but i can only pick up sound on the HD/DVD chanel. please help!

EDIT: dw, i just forgot to set the recorder to component out
