Hi Guys,

My receiver has just crapped out, audio seems to cut out after it has been turned on for a minute or two.

Wanting to get a new one, not fussed with specs, as I generally only use it for two channels plus a sub.

The issue is that the sub is passive, so the sub outs are a positive and negative speaker wire.

Are there any amps out there that still cater for this? or is there any way to go from RCA out to the sub?

Or do I simply just need to buy a new sub.

Thanks in advance!

If you have a 7 channel amp and only use 5 channels you could use one of the other channels for the sub? But I reckon it's probably easier to either buy a new sub, or buy a car audio amp, use a mini PC power supply and run RCAs into that?
