I am after a compact solution for outlets near several TV sites.
This is likely to be
3xF-type
2xRJ45
1xHDMI
Power

I am hunting for a solution that uses the least number of face plates.

I am using Modena throughout the house and accept that getting this function in these plates may not be possibel and will take a lot of plates. PDL600 or similar would be acceptable.

Any suggestions appreciated.

PDL were talking about releasing a 600 series HDMI adapter. I have no idea if it's actually available yet,

No sign of a PDL 600 HDMI plate that I can find.

Any suggestions for the 3xRG6 and 2XRJ45's ?

PDL don't seem to have a good solution for this apart from 5 modules in a 5 way 600-plate?
A lot of people must need this sort of thing or similar?

I use a hole in the wall and a blank plate with a hole in it cut in half to go around the cables to deal with it for the non rj45 things.

That's speaker, RF, some stupid security camera cables that have massive plugs on a tiny wire and some other stuff I have forgotten, VGA/DVI and something else I cant recall.

They dont have any tidy ways to put multiple plates beside each other is my biggest complaint. At least clipsal have their old 2000 series where you could gang them with a single large cover plate over them all, but that also looks a bit naff IMO.

The 800 series PDL ones are better in that 2 can go end to end and look ok, but have less module options. Do have some 3 way RCA ones tho.

The PDL600 series is certainly the most commonly used option.

I just had a quick look on the PDL site and while I didn't see mention of a PDL HDMI adapter one certainly exists and is being sold by other people.

Hi I was going to place an order for a few of these, PM me if you want a few added to the order. I have ordered these several times, they fit a PDL600 series plate if you use a ADC Krone sourced PDL/keystone adaptor.

Cheers
Cyril

Jaycar sell a 600-sized HDMI wall plate, either a single or double, with flexible cable for plugging the HDMI cable into behind them.

@ cyril7: Jaycar also have HDMI Keystone Jacks for $17.90 each.

Oh really I am passing that way soon so will check it out, thanks, Nellyt I will report back on the Jaycar stock.

Be aware that the Jaycar faceplate are the US style and dont match PDL or Clipsal very well, also I have found them very fragile and if you have a stiff HDMI cable that has a large molded plug they can/do break the insert from the plate, the insert as mentioned on a proper 600 plate is a better option, imo :)

PDL are due to release "a new range of AV modules which includes HDMI" in September, but you probably dont want to wait that long.

I could possibly live with dangling cables if I knew something good was coming (like 2xRJ45 in a 800 S2 module!)

Any idea where I could find out.?

I just called PDL in AKL and spoke with their help desk and technical desk. Neither knew of anything. They did confirm that an HDMI module is in development but no idea of progress or availability.

Hi, yes they are at Jaycar, picked a couple up for the jobs I am working on at the moment, I have bags of Krone adaptors if you want them just PM me. Whilst these HDMI insert are slightly cheaper than getting them from the US at least I only need to buy them as I want them.

The part is PS0771

Did they say what year? Smile

It's probably been close to 3 years since I was first told they had one in development!

Schneider have been in a state of shock and disarray for months now. They moved their main warehouse so I have been told and since then its near impossible to get anything out of them, especially 800series.
