Just wondering if anyone is using this card reader:

Does it work well with NewCS with a valid/genuine subscription card? It would make a nice HTPC internally hidden card reader.

Okay, no replies so I assume no one using it. Anyone with a working setup want to try a Smartgo? It is supposed to work perfect with NewCS so should be a matter of only changing the serial port number in your config. I'll buy the reader and sent it to you, prefer in Auckland and even better if out East.

I have a working setup and am happy to assist. Alternatively I've also got a spare assembled working jaycar reader in case you did not want to build your own.

Looks like an interesting unit. Anyone got reports on how well it works in NDS?

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.
