Hopefully someone can help me out successfully connecting my PC to my Bravia 40" LCD [KLV-40X350A].

I have no problem getting an excellent video picture over DVI - HDMI.

This doesn't carry an audio signal though so how do I get the sound from my PC to play through the TV's speakers?

I'm using the PC's onboard sound currently, which has 5.1 outputs [being used for the PC's Logitech speakers] and an SPDIF out.

Anyone with bright ideas?

Hey Gumdigger,

the TV's about 3-4m from the PC. The sound from PC speakers is quite localised to where the PC is set up whereas the TV broadcasts to the room.
Also, the Logitech's are cheap and crap whereas the TV sound is actually pretty good [to a non-audiophile]

The graphic card is an XFX GeForce 8800GTS
