have a pansonic bd60 bluray player and a older technics amp when audio comes via centre speaker at times there is a funny noise when they speak like a deep thud of sorts not all the time and not all movies only happens on dts not dolby digital connected via a optical cable from bluray to amp could it be a problem with the amp/ reciver or possibley the optical cable any help greatly appreciated
Possibly some sort of bass management where it's not crossing over very well for DTS sources? Do you have a sub in your system? Do you have any eq options that show the cross over frequency for the centre speaker?
