Hi there
I was wondering if anyone could help. recently i have noticed that if im watching anyother channel other than tv3 then decide to switch to tv3, MP freezes. iam using cuberlink pdvd codec for h264 and monogram for audio. this is happening on MP 1.1.0 also.

I had a similar problem with MC7 (x64 win 7). I have pc > hdmi > amp > tv. When the amp was off I had no issues with TV3, but when the amp was on it would die when switching to TV3 or playing a tv3 recording -> AC3 problem!

After messing with various settings and having no luck, I ended up configuring the speakers so that it was in 2.0 stereo mode in windows (not media center). That was the magic fix - in media center TV3 still pumps out dolby digital according to the amp so setting it to stereo in windows didn't seem to affect it - odd but worked!

Have you looked at your MediaPortal logs, in particular the tv.log for TV Server and error.log for both client and server? On XP you can find these under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team Mediaportal, then either client or server, and finally logs (sorry don't know the equivalent for Vista/7). You may also want to check for errors in the Windows event log...

More information needed...

As I rarely use LiveTV, I thought I see if this issue was replicable on my system, but it is not.

With your MP versions, did you use upgrade? Or fresh install? What version of PowerDVD are you using?

I am using the version that came with HDPack 2.4. -ver.1.0.0.1505

I have it happen all the time but instead of it doing it on TV3 it normally does it changing from TV3 to TV2.. Both running on different DVB-T cards. Started around RC5 - still doing it in 1.1.0.0.. Ive found no solution to it though other than close MP and restart it.. Dont normally need a comp restart though..
