Hey guys
Im looking at getting one of the following BLuray home theatres:

lg hb905sa


Panasonic SC-BT230GN-K

Is anyone aware of any region free hacks/codes to make them regionfree for DVDs?
Google in this occassion is not being my frind. lol

Can be done free of charge at Next Electronics or any authorised panasonic repairer as long as it is new or still under warranty. I have my DVD-HDD recorder done, dropped off in the morning picked it up that after noon

The strange thing is.. they are sold Region unlocked but you can take them to the authorised repairer and have them hacked. I would have thought that de-regioning them would be illegal in NZ Law?

Email to panasonic resulted in them advising to take it to a authorised repairer and they would do it free of charge (as mentioned in a post above).

No response from LG so have purchased the panasonic unit instead.
