Hey guys

I need some new speakers for my computer for Games Movies and musi. I have a good head set but i want some real speakers 5.1. I have the ls2.1 at the mo and I hate it! I want so cheap 5.1 speakers i was looking for around $230. I found 2 I like

A=
Logitech (970114-0122) X-530 for $99 ( i have a discount so its $69)

B=

GENIUS HF 5.1 5000 for $232 ( i have a discount so its $200)

A has better high end and is cheap but then B has better bass and a remote so i can sit back

I dont care about brands but want it to last untill i get my new htpc

Thx so much.

Jarrod

hi jarrod

google some reviews on them mate

these two brands normally on-par with each other in terms of performance and dollar wise

obviously the genius is slightly higher rank product compare to the logitech hence the price difference, so im guessing the sound quality on the genius might slightly be better than the logitech

im afraid the choice is yours :)

I have the Logitech X-530 setup in my bedroom for my client HTPC. They are a very reasonable set for the price -& I paid more than the now-listed price, around two years ago.

If you aren't after audiophile quality, then these are a good option. But, then again, it depends on your useage: as the main speaker set; who knows. How's that for hedging Laughing

+1 Logitech X-530, I have this for my HTPC surround set up, paired it with a decent soundcard and I couldn't be happier :)
