Does anyone have XBMC and WM7 working seamlessly together?

I'm looking for a solution whereby I can kick off XMBC from WM7 and vise versa. Controlled completely via a Remote if possible.

Thoughts?

Yes i have this setup. I have it working through my logitech harmony remote. There are various ways to go about it. I would check out the xbmc forums, they have several guides on how to accomplish this.

Edit: Actually what do you mean by intergrating WMC7 and xbmc? i think i may have misread :)

I essentially need a nice non coat-hangar way of changing between XBMC and WMC. I use eventghost at the moment for remote mapping, so I presume I may be able to use something in this to do what I need?

You have yet to state why you need to switch between the two. Im guessing because of freeview out of WMC7?
Yes eventghost would be suitable, i personally use IRserver suite to handle my remote which is similar.

There is a pvr branch of xbmc that is in development. However it is purely a front end interface to a mythtv type backend. Something i will be looking at once it is merged into the main svn.

Yeah. The TV Front-end is only really usable on the Linux platform from what I hear - primarily because there's no supported TV backends on the windows platform. Once that is working against a windows based TV server - then that would be optimal.

But for now, I need Freeview live TV (via WMC) and all of my other media needs from XBMC.
