So here's the deal, I have a nice, old-fashioned stereo system that has a USB-input slot (for an A to B cable).  I've connected it to my Mac a few times to play the music through it, but the cord is a bit obstructive due to the speakers being across the room.  So here's my question, is there a way to have a wireless set-up or something less obtrusive?  I've seen those wireless USB hubs, but that's a bit pricey...

Any help would be great, thanks

Do you play the music from your Mac to your stereo via a USB cable?
I don't think there is WirelessUSB yet (could be wrong, it may have passed me by).

Does your stereo have an Auxiliary input (2 x RCA sockets)?
If so, then you could either use an Airport Express (assuming you have WiFi in your house) which iTunes will simply see as another set of speakers and play music to. OR, you could get a wireless AV sender and just send the 'A'.

I use an Airport express to play music off my PC to my stereo, works great, and My iPod touch works as the remote.
