Here in NZ the clocks change next Sunday at 3.00am.

OpenTV broadcasts the program times in GMT so the Collector has to adjust them to the local time using some other data that also arrives in the broadcast. This is the first change of time that the Collector has had to deal with.

I have had a look at the xmltv file this morning and the good news is that it looks like the times for programs both before and after the change are correct.

Could someone who actually uses this data confirm that the program times after 3.00am on the 26th are correct?

This only affects OpenTV here, in the UK and in Italy. OpenTV in Australia broadcasts it's data with a fixed time offset from GMT.

Cheers

Steve

I dunno if this is entirely relevant, but I've had to change my offset for importing my EPG into MediaPortal by an hour.

I normally have to offset the times by 12 hours, and now i offset by 12 hours.

I get my EPG from some mysterious unknown source.

in Win7 mines a mess, but that could be pre-existing data in the db.

Noticed that on Sunday/Monday my epg was 1 hour out. XML had both +12 and +13 in it at the time. It seems to have cleared now that XML file has only +13.

SJB: Do you collect every day?

Not sure who you're talking to, but yes, I collect every day, and I did some manual collections on the day I changed my dst offset.
