Has anyone got a mac running as their dvr with freeview hd?

I currently run win7 w/ hvr-2200 dual dvb-t tuner, was thinking of putting together a mac mini to do it.

what tuners would you use and what app would you use as your interface (plex?) also the epg.

has to be wife friendly and play the usual avi's and mkv's with digital out audio.

Not asking for much am I.
