Okay, I want to add a second Tv to my satellite receiver.  The second TV is 100 ft away.  I got the 1x4 HDMI splitter, the HDMI wall plate set that will extend 120 ft using a cat5e/cat6 cable.  Connected everythig up as per the directions . . . and nothing.  I've tried everything, so far.  Does anyone have any tips.  I want the 2nd tv to run as a slave to the first, showing same shows etc.  Do I need an amplifier on the splitter?

Does one TV work if the other is disconnected?

If the remote TV works when the close by one is disconnected then I'd suggest that it's not a cabling issue, it's something to do with the intelligence within the HDMI connection that's not liking the situation.
