Hi there, since the daylight savings changes and by that i mean the date it USED to be i.e. the first week in October. My EPG is completely out of sync. the PC date and time is correct. However the EPG shows things like 3 News 5pm-6pm, Campbell Live 6.00-6.30. Shortland Street completely missing. It only started happening Sunday 3rd Oct.
The EPG comes straight from the Satellite, I have nothing setup to collect it, it just works (or worked)

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Stuart

As someone else said on a EPG thread.. my wife thinks this is unacceptable :-)
Does anyone else have the same issue??

I have no idea where the guide I have comes from other than Optus D1 or Mediacentre itself.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks Regs, I will have a look at updates. To be honest I never really check if it's done updates, it just sits in the corner quietly :-)

I think KB979306 from March 2010 is the latest DST patch.

I have PC's that have all updates applied and STILL cannot do the daylight savings change correctly, even after running TZEdit. They change the time correctly on the 3rd week in Sept and then put the time forward another hour last week :-)

Tried a reset of Media Centre? or is it the whole pc that the time is an issue with?

The pc's date and time is fine, it's just the EPG that thinks 3 news starts at 5pm for example

I'd be inclined to try a reset of media centre. Amazing how many issues that fixes. beware tho that this resets MC to it's shipping state. You have to got thru and re-setup everything - channels, tuners, plugins, libraries etc.

It turns out my server was the issue, it had been rebuilt recently, and it did not have all the correct DST updates applied, as soon as I did that everything started working properly :-)
