Looking at adding one to my HT set up. What stockists should I be looking at?

Can't really find anything.

Would love the Panamax 5300, but of course, can't find it in NZ.

Any suggestions?

Belkin used to make one, retailed for close to $700 from memory?

The Panamax 5300 surge suppressor, not a power conditioner. A surge suppressor will only clean up spikes and clean up a bit of RF noise, but do nothing for voltage dips and brownouts.

Most quality home AV equipment should be able to handle surge and RF spikes, it's part of some international standard, so external surge suppression is generally not needed. Better to invest in power conditioning, a well rated UPS could be pressed into this kind of scenario. At least a UPS will save your projector lamp from premature failure in the case of power outages and brownouts.

Perhaps something like this? That has no battery, so a small UPS might work.

I'm considering something similar for my HT setup. The main reason is because the plasma tv puts a lot of noise onto the power line, and i'm using home power line networking, so this might clean things up a bit and give me better network speeds.

Depends on what you want to protect - projector, amp, TV ? Add up the power usage to get a max reading on power consumption, and then go shopping :-)

A couple of things to bear in mind:

1) You probably wont use both the TV and projector simultaeously, so calcul;ate accordingly.

2) Most UPS's have a backed up output, and additional filtered outputs that are not backed up. At the very least, your projector should be on the backed up outlet, and the rest of your kit on the filtered outlets.
