I can't find any VLC based TV software so I am looking for a way to have all channels put in a playlist and be able to use VLC as a viewing software. now I can only change channels for one freq from Playback;porgrams and choose the channel. I want a way where you can get the channel you want straight away and therefore use the keyboard to change channels.

What client are you using to pull in the tv stream?

Support a locally made Linux based Operating System, try Linux Lite.
Download Linux Lite

I use MCE windows 7 64 and it works fine for all channels if I dont have my TV as a second monitor connected when I do channel 3 and plus c4 and c42 drop out or become pixilated. VLC works better when the second monitor is connected and channel 3 works kinda ok most of the time thats why i want to use  VLC to view these channels when the other monitor is connected.
