my dad has just brought a panasonic viera x series tv and has tried to connect his laptop to it to play movies that are stored on his hp laptop and everything connects up fine we get the desktop up on the tv however when we try play movies through vlc it doesn't work just gives vlc just gives us a blank screen while the movie plays out fine on the laptop. but the strange thing is when we use windows media player it works fine (for the codec wmp can play anyway)
anyone got any ideas or have the same problem?
