I'm doing a house extension, and wanting to centralise my A/V and distribute to 2 points (at this time, maybe more later?).

I see PDL offer Lexcom system

http://www.pdl.co.nz/products-nav.aspx?id=661

Anyone have any experience with those systems?

or want to make a relatively affordabel suggestion?

What I am wanting to centralise and serve up ;

Panasonic 50" Plasma
mysky HDi
Denon AVR3808 AMP
surround sound (7.1 is poss with ceiling and wall mounted rears, or 5.1 if not)
HTPC
multiroom 2nd old school Sky box
infra red remote control (i currently have a stealth Blue Eye kit however it cannot be "extended") however i note they make particular comment about being one of very few compatible with mysky HDi so am concious of getting one compatible.
PS3
Also want to serve up multiroom music from my Macbook Pro if possible.

Run from central hub location to Plasma TV is about 8m straight line, so more like 10-11m once you take either up & over or under the floor into account. Have run a 10m HDMI cable under the floor before they closed it in, just in case. although I'm aware of the latency issues of that length of cable, should be able to sort with lip sync correction on my amp???

would ideally like High Def to the Plasma in the lounge, 2nd TV is HD compat but not essential to have it in HD (nice to have).

thanks.

After typing Lexcom in that little white search box at the top of the screen.....

Doesn't address all your questions, but gives a bit of background to get you started.

Its RF on overpriced cable. You would be able to get a great deal on the gear if the wholealers had any instock since noone wants it.

They use modulators and send it over "cat 7" cables - a WTF thing in so many ways.

If you put HDMI in the search field on the PDL site, it finds nothing. That kinda sums up how backwards the system is.
