Has anyone tried one of these with EPG Collector?

Other question is has anyone got it working with Windows 7 x64? It says it works on Vista x64 which is usually an optimistic sign. I'm working on the assumption that if it works in Windows 7 x64 then there is a good chance it will work in Windows Home Server 2011 which is where I want to put it...

Thanks to anyone who can help!

The fact it says it supports GBPVR etc indicates it probably has BDA drivers which would mean it should work with EPG Collector.

The main issue would simply be whether it has working 64 bit drivers for WHS.

Might take a punt on it then, at worst I get a $60 white elephant for my existing herd :-)

Nah, it'll probably be the "why do I have this yellow exclaimation mark in device manager..?" post. Fingers crossed the drivers arn't horrendously unstable.
The curse of low profile boxes gah!

I use low profile cards from AverMedia, TechnoTrend and Mystique (dual S2 but expensive) with no issues at all.

Yep, I use lots of low profile cards too, just not USB boxes from Shijiazhuang usually :-)

Well in case anyone is interested, this gadget installed fine on both Win 7 x64 and even better, Windows Home Server 2011. It's going well and appears to be stable, EPG collector is running with it happily. I haven't tried suspend and resume with it, but from a cold boot Windows 7 Media Center works fine with it if anyone is looking for a Satellite tuner for $60.

That's very interesting since I was going to buy one also but in the end went for one of these

purely to get the epg - no other reason.

I hope it works!
