On sale at the warehouse for $899. http://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/red/catalog/product/Sanyo-LCD-46-Inch-Television--LCD46XAZ10FH?SKU=1445422
I was wondering whether Sanyo tvs are any good at all? Does anyone have this?

I was also looking at this TV here: http://dicksmith.co.nz/product/GE6616/sony-40-quot-full-high-definition-lcd-tv-kdl40cx520

I would use it as a second computer monitor for watching movies and things on and also just general tv viewing through freeview (no sport).

I don't know about the quality of the TV's, but keep in mind that neither of these seem to have Freeview built-in, so you'll need to use an external decoder (or a TV tuner in your PC).

I can't comment on the Sanyo, but the Sony KDL40CX520 definitely does have a built-in Freeview|HD tuner.

I already have a freeview box and will hook my computer up to the screen which has freeview as well. I ended up getting this http://shop.jbhifi.co.nz/plasma-lcd-tvs/lcd%20tv/samsung-la40d550-40-full-hd-lcd-tv/46676
