There are many threads about this topic but none seem to fix my problem. About 1-2 months my media center stopped viewing my tv channels. Previously for the last couple of months since setting up the tv tuners I could watch both analog and digital channels as I have a hybrid tuner. The only signal I can receive now is the one from my tv that I have looped back to the computer for watching sky (i.e. its not really a tv channel but the frequency transmitted from my tv if that makes sense). I used the log file from media center to find the frequencies for the tv channels that previously worked and have added them manually but just get a white screen and message saying no tv signal....I've checked all installed programs and updates over the period I lost my channels and find nothing installed over this period that might be conflicting with the tuner or media center. I have cleared and updated my tv card drivers (hauppauge). I have done a complete factory restore. I just don't know what to try next. Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked to make sure your aerial connection isn't broken? Either at the mast/lnb or the plug. Test with something else.
Otherwise I would say your tuner card is dead. Not uncommon with Hauppauge cards

Thanks for your reply...after doing as much as I possibly could find on the internet I decided to double check some of the basics and as it turned out the aerial was the problem.  Still I think somewhere along the line there was some other kind of issue as I remember checking the aerial at the start and there were no issues finding reception with the TV but problems with the computer.  Whatever steps I took after that I must have fixed the problem but not been able to watch the tv on the computer because I had subsequently disconnected the loop back with my sky decoder.

thanks for your help

Glad I could help. I was having issues with rain fade and it turned out to be water getting into the LNB plug - often we overlook the simplest things :)

I had the same.  Losing DVB-T which always seemed to be when it was raining.
Checked the f-connector and even though it seemed dry and ok, I put some silicone around the f-connector then put the rubber cover back over.  Haven't seen it occur again (so far!)
