Hi there.

I have a Sony Bravia TV (KDL-40W4500.)
Tonight when using my PS3 with it the information banner at the top, which usually will go away after a few seconds, is staying on the screen.
I've pushed the display/info button at the top of the remote 3 times (1st would usually bring up the channel info, 2nd will have the clock and 3rd will remove it all.) However after a few seconds it comes back on and stays on.

I'm using the HDMI channel for this, but it is also happening when I use one of the Video channels.

This doesn't happen when watching TV.

Any ideas on how to fix or remove this? I've tried looking online but no help.

Have you contacted Sony directly about the problem? They have a support line that might be useful, 0800 766 969

I managed to do a fix. I basically made the TV reset itself and it now works fine, the banner goes away as per normal.
