I got MySky installed on Tuesday night, and was adding in all my programs to record last night. Everything went well and couldn't have been easier, but then it won't let me record "Rome" on One. It will let me set the reminder, which is great if I happen to have be watching MySky 60 seconds before the program starts.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why it won't record? The hard drive is virtually empty btw.

This isn't a Sky helpdesk - try calling them? o_O

Sounds like an issue with the device and/or service, moreso than cables/tv etc which is what geekzoners are particularly useful in helping with ;)

I think I have encountered that on rare occasions. I may have even posted it in another thread on this forum, I don't recall. You should be able to "manual record" it. That is what I am doing at the moment for daily programs, while series link isn't working.

Thanks John,

I tried again last night to book it to record and it worked fine for some reason. I was also able to add the series link to another program I booked tor record, which it wouldn't do on Wednesday night.

As I have only had it since Tuesday I haven't had any problems with series link (all my programs are weekly) as yet. Is your problem with the unit not actually finding the series link when you book to record the show, or is it linking but then not actually recording?

When a program is booked and series linked, a new booking should appear in the Planner when today's recording is done. There has been a problem over the last nine days where the new entry was not being added to the Planner, so only one episode would ever be recorded, even though series link was selected. So it was like not having series link at all, and each episode had to be booked individually.
