Has anyone nailed the HDMI synch issues present with most HTPC / HDMI TV combos?  

I've tried both Samsung S7 and Panasonic TVs, and they don't really connect smoothly like a normal monitor. Also tried intgrated and Nvidia GPUs.

I often end up having to reboot HTPC, TV or both. Sometimes toggling between AV inputs does it, but not often.

Blank Screen is generally the symptom.

I see some HDMI detective boxes and various bits of software on the 'net.
