Hi,

I've got an old sky dish (60cm..?) and have added a quad lnb to it:

At the moment I have 2 RG6 cables running from the lnb directly into a quad dvb-s2 card in my htpc. This is the card:

I've gone through the wmc7 tv setup and scanned for D1 using custom single @ 10750. At this point the signal bar is green and 80% full. It picks up the freeview channels no problem, but when I go to watch any of them, no picture or audio shows.

If I then go into DVB Viewer pro and scan it picks up the freeview channels and I can watch them fine...

So I'm very confused as to why media center has a good signal and picks up the channels, but won't show them.

My ultimate plan is to get a larger dish and tune into sbs, nine, gem and go (if they are still around) to compliment the freeview HD I am getting with a dvb-t card, but not being able to get basic freeview in media center is a hurdle I didn't expect.

Many thanks in advance for the help.

Shane
