I recently set up my Apple TV 1st gen with XBMC. Was thoroughly enjoying watching TVNZ on demand shows.

However as of some time last week, I can't view many of the tv shows. I can see the tv show name and the episodes but either get a generic error message that it can't be loaded or just nothing happens when click on 'em.

I haven't tried them all, but the only ones that do load seem to be local. (Breakfast, "Beyond the darklands" to name a few).

Is it just me?

XBMC on what? I'd grabbed something off TV3 on XBMC on ApplevTV last week and it had no issues. But I haven't tried TV2 in the last week.

Having the same issues with XBMC on TVNZ. Doesn't look like a fix will be out for some time.

Oh. Wouldn't if be great if one of the broadcasters actually made the plugin.

Hmm there's no reason they couldn't.  I mean the PS3 one is official.  Wonder if we should all write to TVNZ/TV3 and ask them for an official XBMC plugin?

I just put in a request to TVNZ for xbmc support. Why should PS3 owner have all the fun.

The PS3 "plugin" is just a TV-centric webpage as far as I recall. It looks special, but it's just a browser window.

Edit: Found the link. Not sure if you can just use that?

Hmm does XBMC have a simple browser plugin that would allow the use of this?
