Please help!

I live in Kapiti.
I'm getting my Freeview HD TV signal from Ngarara.
However I cannot find any EPG listings on any frequencies.

I've scanned all the frequencies I can from Ngarara & they all come back looking like:

I've since updated my sys to the new frequencies for Kapiti & still it's empty. It finds the transport frequency, put there doesn't seem to be any content in it.

I do notice we have the same capture card (Hauppage HVR-900H), so I wonder if it could be a problem with this particular DVB-T device ... anyone else with this stick having issues?

I wonder whether the problem is that the EPG Collector is using the generic network provider instead of the DVB-T one - some tuners are funny like that. Are either of you able to test with XP?

I'm unable to test with XP, sorry... my sys (4x2TB HDD's & 8GB RAM) isn't very compatible.
Does XP even have a media center?
It's kind of unique though, both Win7x64 both HVR-900H

Any one else running HVR-900H's with this issue?

Hmmm, well you could test with MediaPortal, but assuming that the tuner works in WMC it should also just work in the EPG Collector. Might be wise to post a thread in the EPG Collector sourceforge forum.

I've had a user in the US with a similar looking problem where the tuner locked ok but no data arrived so maybe the fix I did for him will work for you.

Download this version. It will install directly over your current version.

It worked for me :)

I had to change my collection type from MHEG5 to EIT but it worked.

Now I can setup my recordings.

On terrestrial you only get 12 hours of EPG with EIT.

Post the log for an MHEG5 attempt when you have time.
