Recently updated to MP 1.2.1 and Harmony one remote stopped communicating with MP. i can see the receiver blinking red light if i press something but nothing happens.

-tried restarting htpc
-tried replugging the receiver and restarting htpc again.
- checked the MP config, MCE remote is ticked

what could be the issue?

Can you test if the remote is working in Windows Media Center?

You haven't just disabled the service in the MediaPortal Configuration under Additional 3rd Part checks?

Sounds like a remote or iR receiver issue then.
Is the Harmony remote controlling anything else like TV? And is that still working?

Hmmm... do you have an original Windows Media Center remote you can try or did you get the iR receiver by itself?

Tried with the original remote, still no luck. btw i have MP 1.2.1 client setup on other pc (win 7x64) on the network. i connected the receiver to that and it works with both remotes (Harmony one & Original)

So it's most likely a driver issue.
If you connect the iR receiver back up to the computer that is having the problem and go into Device Manager and remove/uninstall all the eHome stuff for the receiver then restart the computer.
THat will make Windows reinstall the drivers.

That fixed it. i also remembered i recently installed and uninstalled EventGhost to control my other devices using the same receiver, this mightv done something to the eHome drivers.
