Hey Guys,

I am looking for a 3d projector that I can use to play 3d movies from my computer and play 3d games off my ps3. I am looking to play 3d movies from my pc and 3d games from my ps3.

Also what is the smallest screen size for 3d projectors?

Basically I am looking for a projector and 4x glasses that are compatible with my pc for playing movies and playing 3d games off ps3.

Can anyone recommend something.. The cheapest option?

Head into the larger of your local hifi stores and ask to see the new Panasonic 3D projector... it seems to be the best price for performance unit on the market at the moment.
RRP is around 5.7k, so it'll depend on how much you can afford to spend.
No doubt there will be cheaper, but unfortunately, cheap 3D projectors could be all sorts of bad!

Ok... So thats a bit to high :P

I dont have a very big space and its only for the odd 3d movie and gaming. I Have decided on the following setup.

- Optoma HD67
- Optoma 3D-XL projector adapter
- 3x ZD201 3D glasses.

This is going to set me back about $2550.00

I have a couple of questions..
- Now, the viewing space is very small. How small screen size can projectors project to?
- What would be an appropriate size for a screen if the seating is only 1.7m way? I can also take longer viewing distace, but for this the screen would have to be a 4:3
- I plan to play backup 3d movies from my computer, will i need a special software to do so?
- Out of topic, is the fat 60gb ps3 compatible with HDMI 1.4
- Will I need a HDMI 1.4 Cable?

At that size and distance why not go for a big plasma screen?
3D has been running longer now in the home TV world.

so at about 2m viewing distance what would be a good screen size?

according to this:

about 75'' diagonal @ 2.7m

But that 2.7 depends on how you will be mounting the projector, can you put it at 2.7m away?
Will it be mounted in the roof?

yes it will be 2.7m away from screen. my house is made of concrete so wiring and mounting will be difficult.
