I've got a counterweighted screen that completely covers a 42" panasonic Plasma when its not in use. (Load around 2kg) I would like to motorize it so the screen slides out of the way when I turn the TV on and slides back into position when the TV standby or off is punched. Any bright ideas?

Depends how much you want to spend. When I worked for a Home theatre company we would put in motorised projector screens that would the projector turned on, itcome down and cover over plasma screens ressessed into the wall.

Dont think they were cheap though.

Good quality screens are often quite expensive too - its the motor system that I'm interested in. I'd be happy to take this up with your HC contacts if this was appropriate.
