I had MySky set up to record the ABs vs. South Africa on Sunday morning - but when I went to watch the planner had it listed as Failed. It's the first time I've had this problem - anyone else have the same thing or was it local just to me ??
You can imagine how p'd off I was

Did it say why it failed? I get a few "Part Rec (no signal)" from time to time, but the outages are very small and hardly noticeable.

No, but bizarrely it also tried to record the tennis after the rugby (which I hadn't set) and also failed to record that.
I had another failure last night - I had recorded a programme and it appeared to be recording successfully (red light was on) then in the last 5 minutes I managed to hang the system when using live pause (something I've done several times) and the only way to fix it was to soft reboot the machine - this obviously stopped the thing I was recording and I thought I would lose the last 5 minutes - but when I went to watch it it said the whole recording had failed.
Guess if this continues I should suspect dodgy box.

Does it say "failed" per se, or does it just not work? I have noticed problems with live sporting events (eg a race running over time), and some EPG errors, where the program wasn't actually on at the time the recording was done.

I had a recording on prime failed on tuesday night. It said it had no signal. Luckily it wasn't anything important. That's the first time I've had something fail, but I've only had myksy for 2 months.
