So I currently have an old xp machine that is doing my downloading for me... It has 1GB of ram and a 1.8Ghz athlon processor. I am thinking about puttitng a graphics card in it to get an hdmi output and then use the computer as a media pc. I want to run XBMC as I quite like the look. Is it going to have the grunt to run it? I have installed and run it. At the moment it only has a 500GB hard drive and I have only indexed a couple of movies on xbmc. They seem to run ok I am just wondering if in the future when I dump the rest of my music and movies it is going to slow down alot. I intend on putting in 2x2TB hard disks and the possibillity of adding more in the future is almost definate. What sort of specs have your media PCs got and what do you recommend? Computers are cheap enough these days do I dont mind getting another one to be the media box.

Thanks,
Sam
