Hi,

I am trying to find a device that streams wifi DIGITAL quality (not FM stereo) audio from my home stereo to a receiver connected to another stereo in a seperate part of the house.
I found something perfect for the job last year but I'll be blowed if I can find it again. It was a well nown brand but I can't remember it now.
I play a lot of vinyl and it would be cool to sit somewhere other than my lounge to here what's playing, and no running long speaker wire to another set of speakers is not an option.

Any ideas?

whether or not its any good ofcourse is another issue.

If you listen to vinyl, not digital media from a server, would probably be cheaper (and produce better quality sound) to just buy another record player

Thanks mate but I don't think that will do the job in my case. I used one of those things in another home and it doesn't take much to block the transmission signal.
I could run stupidly long speaker wires to solve my problem but we live in the age of WFI so there must be a better solution than that doesn't cost the Earth. If on;ly I could remember that product from last year......

Coax SPDIF Out... TV Sender ... TV Receiver ... Coax SPDIF In :-)

and use either above as the video sender ..

Yes strange putting SPDIF thru a TV Sender.. but it works and people have done it :-)

Or if the sound source is iTunes, you could get a appletv or airport express
