I've got a Sony Bravia KDL40CX520 and in the four weeks that I've had it there has been two firmware updates for it.  However I've got no idea of what changes the updates have introduced.

Do Sony document this anywhere?

Try the Sony NZ support site.
I updated my 32ex720 firmware online the other day and the support site details the changes but only for the latest download.
.wmv files wouldn't play before updating but they do now. So do my .ts files.

Ah, I had looked at the Sony site but somehow missed what I was looking for.  I found this for my TV which I think is what you were talking about?  If so then it does indeed outline a few changes, YouTube HD support and stability improvements.

Thanks!
