I'm looking to make some acoustic panels to dampen down the echoes in a couple of rooms in the house.  However, everyone seems to recommend compressed fiberglass insulation for the core of the panel. Does anyone know where I can find some in New Zealand?

What you want is novahush. Does the same job as the rigid fibreglass but doesn't fall apart and irritate skin and eyes, costs about the same too. You can get it from foreman isulation.
