Everything physically is ok. I've installed a splitter, which a tv is connected to(not part of the htpc setup) and that is working fine.

The HTPC can find the channels correctly. It gets the guide listings too. Everything works apart from showing a picture. Sound quality is perfect too. The computer is connected to the TV via HDMI.

1 x Hauppauge HVR2200(Dual tuner)
1 x Hauppauge HVR3000
1 x Nvidia GT520
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66ghz
4GB Ram

It's more than capable of running DVB-T. I haven't had much of a crack at it, however I was just hoping of lining up a whole lot of ideas for the weekend.

Would this be a driver problem? Or perhaps I don't have the right codecs?

You haven't gone and installed any codec packs have you? There is no need for any additional codecs for DVB-T to work - but if you have installed others you could have easily messed things up.

Nothing else is installed. It's a fresh install of windows 7 home premium. The only other installations are the windows updates & WinTV 7 which came with the tuners

I don't usually use WMC but when I tried the other day all I got was sound and a black screen. Video card is Nvidia GTS450. After some research online found it was a known problem with the previous Nvidia drivers update. Yesterday I downloaded and installed the latest driver (8.17.12.9573) from Nvidia (released 12th Feb) and problem solved.

Unless you have messed up with codec configuration before on this install, then you shouldn't need anything - Windows 7 codecs work out of the box.

Are you running the appropriate drivers for your video card? Running any other applications on this PC at the same time?

Nothing else is running at the same time, no other codecs were installed either. I'll try WinTV 7 and see if that works when I get home tonight. That way I can pinpoint it(I hope)

The drivers that were installed were just off the CD that came in the box. I'll download the latest and give that a crack.

There must have been something in a recent windows update that introduced this problem. I found WINTV 7 continued working  perfectly but no Video in WMC. As I said, I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers yesterday as suggested in other Forums and the problem was solved. WMC was working perfectly when last used a few weeks ago and only changes to the system have been Windows updates (Win 7 Pro in use here).

Hmmm... that is quite interesting. Admittedly, I had never tried DVB-T until it was fully updated as I was still waiting on the RG6 cables to turn up.

I'll try the latest drivers when I'm home. Hopefully that works out well. Otherwise it could be a little more complex

No problems here ad I have all updates applied. I have a HTPC running Windows 7, and also use Media Center on my laptop - both play Freeview HD no problem...

Hmmm... well that blows one theory out the window.

The computer is more than capable of playing DVB-T. The HVR 2200 is brand new as well, so I don't suspect all the tuners being a problem.

I'll report back when I get home. Thanks for the input

Updated the video drivers, and a few windows updates were lined up(which I didn't know about).
I left them installing while I was at football practice. Came back, rebooted and bam! It's all going

Thanks for all your help guys, much appreciated
