I am on Vodfone and trying to update my ATV to the latest OS and it's just timing out.

Movies stream fine and everthing else works.

Any other uses with this problem?

After trying for a day, I connected it to my iPhone via Telecom XT and within seconds, it started downloading.

I just updated my Apple TV to the new OS with no worries, I am on Telecom.

Personally I quite like the new interface - it now closely resembles the iPhone/iPad interface with the large icons.  Plus it is quicker to get around.

However there is still the disconnect between local content and cloud content.  If you (like me) have a large iTunes library with content not bought from iTunes, the only way to access it is via the 'Computers' section.  I would like to see all content integrated into the higher level TV/Movies categories, irrespective of where they are stored.

But otherwise, like it.

I like the new photo stream direct options.

I am having issues with my iPad on the Vodafone network but if I use the PHS on the iPhone, it works.

Vodafone are investigating

Must say, Vodafone staff are awesome and responsive.

Problem is back to the Netgear Router, for some reason this router does some very very strange things on the Vodafone network.

BUT, loosing battle trying to talk to Netgear about it

Try changing your DNS (use google's 8.8.8.8) and see if that works. Someone reported it working for iOS5.1 update issues on another thread
