Has anyone used either of these devices with Media Portal yet? I had a quick search of the Media Portal forums but didnt turn up anything. I thought I would post here as local experiences would be good, if there are any.


They look like quite interesting devices - I'm thinking about replacing my internal tuner cards with one or more of these devices - I would still like to present the "virtual" tuners to Media Portal for it to manage however.

Wouldn't recommend AVerMedia at all. They are totally unco-operative and snobby about getting better support for their products in MediaPortal. I'd recommend an HDHomeRun instead. Their support is very responsive and the configuration software is great. Works in MediaPortal.
