Hi guys, just introducing myself.

From Dunedin; been living in the states for the last three years but moving back home in December.

Have joined this forum so I can find out what to expect 'tech wise' in New Zealand when I move back there.

I Have a few questions mainly about HTPC's in NZ; here in the US it is pretty simple; hook up the cable box(s) to the tuner card(s)
run the media center tv setup, automatically download the guide data and enjoy.

From what I can gather in NZ it is a little more difficult and more expensive to do this; am I correct???
