What games do people play at LAN Parties these days?

UT and CS were the big ones at those LAN Parties in the early 00's. There'd be 60+ people crammed into a church hall in Belmont on a Saturday with a make shift network put up and game play late into the night. Fun, fun, fun. From memory they were called GeekFest.

Ceythos:

Welcome!

I had such high hopes for Vanguard but it just didn't really come together, and I ended up just staying addicted to EQ until I finally weened myself off the crack a few years later :-) Smedley and Aradune stole a decade of my life lol :-P

One of the first things I did when I started working at SoE was look up exactly how many hours I'd logged in their products. I won't repeat it here, but it wasn't a small amount of time invested - I simultaneously curse and thank Smed and McQuaid for those hours spent in the same breath :)

I cry a little inside looking back and remembering my primary EQ character had a played time measured in years.

Last LAN I had consisted of Unturned, CS:GO, L4D2, Trackmania among others..... primarily came down to what everyone could run as some of us dont have powerhouse systems.
