Well, as you can tell, I am new to the forum!
Hopefully I can intergrate into the site, and become as helpful as possible!

A little about myself you might ask? Currently working as a projectionist at a cinema, but looking for new work. I run my own website, I am 22, and live just North of Auckland.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I am curious. How many posts do I need in order to post in the "locked" forums? Or does each one have a differing number?

Hey welcome to GZ and to answer your question about locked forums they are just that locked so no number of posts will get you the ability to post in them but you can request a unlock though there's a tag to click on to request a unlock. :-)

Welcome to Geekzone...

There are "locked forums", "private forums" and "locked threads". You can request locked threads to be unlocked. "Locked forums" I suppose you are talking about the ones that require a minimum number of posts? In this case each forum is different. I see you have posted enough to go to the Startup forum...

The "private forums" are by invitation only and some aren't even listed.

Apparently freitasm (Mauricio) is the reason we all exist here :)

Welcome Matt, these folk are really helpful

Extra tip - the long box near the top right of your screen is your status update box, not a search box, and there is a link to the search option right next to it - I tested it myself, it indeed works that way  more than once :bigger blush:

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.

Ha ha, brilliant. Thank you for the heads up! I most likely would have used to for searches and wondered why nothing was happening!
