Welcome to the Vu+ Duo fraternity.  What version of software are you running?

I am using VIX 2.1 but may upgrade later once VIX 2.3 becomes more stable.  Originally my box had the standard Enigma2 software, but Series Link was lacking.  It works really well in VIX.

P.S.  Watch out for the Vu+ Duo clones.  There are lots of problems with them, and knowing what things are like in Thailand, you may well be looking at a clone rather than the original product which is made in Korea.

Hi.

thanks for the welcome.

I think it is still the original software. it says Enigma 2 with OpenPli I think it is, but no version, but not having anything to do with linux beofre i don't want to push to far without support, I have already lost the SBS chnnels that were loaded by not saying yes when doing a search, and not sure how to get back  i do have a dual sharps SKy lnb, but thought there maybe more available with the 2  lines in .

What is the best way to tell a clone? i have seen a cpl of posts for the solo , but to me I couldn't tell evem with the differences circled

Cheers

I think SBS has disappeared. There is another thread here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=83&topicid=101615

Yeah, fair enough.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

The SBS channels seem to have gone off-air permanently, as you will see from the lengthy discussion in this thread.

I'm not sure about that either.  Just heard they are out there, that's all...
