I was sure I posted this already, but it seems I didn't, so excuse me for rampaging around the house stirring up trouble before I'd even knocked on the door...

Bit of an on-and-off lurker here, thought it was finally time to do the done thing and sign up. 

I'm a pseudo-geek based in the top of the south. I'm a fairly consistent Apple user - consistent in that I'd rather eat knives than troubleshoot Windows - though I really wish they wouldn't dumb down their products and wall in the garden so tight. I like emulators, loud-ish music, and long walks along the beach with my gadgets.

I also posted a topic in the startup help group (again, before I'd properly introduced myself - the shame, the shame...) and would obviously be very grateful for any feedback.
