I am a very aging hippie from the U.S.  I used to be the guy people would come to for computer help or to build a simple system. I thought that I was going to fit right in to the era of geek.  No such luck. I have been run down by the speed of change.  I travel a lot by van. I have my laptop, a bluetooth GPS, an amplified cell phone antenna and a Dell Axim X30 (624MHz) as company and diversion when the weather keeps me inside. Truthfully, I'd much rather be walking in the mountains anywhere above 6000 feet (1800 meters). My projects are related to making my van more tech friendly. More power less cables, satellite internet. Solar charging and bluetooth are my current stumbling blocks and are what brought me to  Geekzone.  Howdy!
