Hi all,

I'm Terry, and I work at Opus doing web development, data processing and software support.

I'm active on Experts Exchange (my specialty is regular expressions, especially in PHP), and also on Stack Exchange in a number of sub-sites. I have a strong interest in Bitcoin, because I hate to see 3-4% of nearly every online purchase going to credit card companies, and believe our country would be better off if we used bitcoins instead.

I'm also trying to get a New Zealand sub-site started on Stack Exchange (in the Area 51 zone). I wish I knew how to promote that better though!

I've just bought a Raspberry Pi to teach my daughter that the coolest computers don't have to run Windows, and should have it up and running in a week or two.

Cheers,
Terry

Behodar, the crazy thing is that I actually enjoy writing regular expressions... not sure why really, but maybe because it's more predictable than real life!?
