I have worked in the telco business since last century and some days it feels like I have worked in IT since the century before that.
Previously employed at FX Networks, Ultrafast Fibre Ltd, Velocity Networks Ltd, Wired Country and Go Live Ltd.
I know some stuff about layer 1 and layer 2, but my knowledge diminishes as we travel up the OSI layers.
