About time I did one of these I think. My name is Simon, I work as a software engineer in Auckland, mostly in .NET web technologies but end up covering a wide range of things both at work and after, and interested in a wide range of technologies. I game a bit, have a young family, spend a bit of time dodging auckland drivers on a bike,  am a fan of the whole open source movement, have recently caught a bit of a bug in terms of getting a decent home theatre setup, always interested in mobile devices, think Windows in general isn't half as bad as many people make out, really like android and Linux, am always keen to get the most out of my broadband and spend a lot of time tinkering with computers.
